About Me
My name is Alawna Burrell. I’m a certified yoga teacher (RYT-200) through Namah Shivaya International School of Yoga & Meditation. I have an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Jackson State University and a Masters degree in Child & Adolescent Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. I am also a licensed and Board Certified Behavior Analyst. I’m experienced in working with mindfulness techniques, ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), meditation, breath work, autism, and behavioral change.
I would describe myself as someone who has always had a natural affinity for the more esoteric things in life. As a child, I had a vivid imagination and insatiable curiosity–both of which have ultimately led me to the path of yoga. The knowledge and wisdom that I have acquired through yogic philosophy, applied behavioral science, and spiritual science has compelled me to help others in exceptional ways.
I’m an intuitive healer who works through the mediums of applied research and connective experiences. My goal is to guide you to the most beautiful expression of yourself.
